A Matter of Import is a Quest in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. Hazanui Karū asks the Watcher to pick up an important shipment and deliver it to the island of Sayuka. This is a faction quest of RDC.

Objectives

  1. Meet Widla at sea at the rendezvous location.
  2. Speak to Hazanui Karū in her office at the Brass Citadel.
  3. Speak to Fleet Master Okaya at Sayuka.

 

Walkthrough

  • Speak to Hazanui Karū in her office at the Brass Citadel. She will mark the rendezvous location on your map.
  • Meet Widla at sea at the rendezvous location. If you have a good reputation among the Principi, she will not raise the price. 
  • After some time, a scientist named Iverra come out from one of the cargo. It turns out Royal Deadfire Company uses you for human trafficking. 
  • Sail to Sayuka and speak to Fleet Master Okaya.

    • Hazanui Karū asked me to pick up an important shipment and deliver it to the island of Sayuka.
    • (Alternate) Hazanui Karū has requested my help with a sensitive matter.
  • Meet Widla at sea at the rendezvous location
    • Widla and her crew are waiting at a predetermined spot west of Neketaka. I'm to meet her there to pick up the cargo.
  • Speak to Hazanui Karū in her office at the Brass Citadel
    • Hazanui Karū has a job for me. Her office is on the main floor of Imperial Command at the Brass Citadel.
    • The hazanui is currently meeting at Kahanga palace with the queen and Vailian leaders.
  • Speak to Fleet Master Okaya at Sayuka
    • I paid the smuggler's price and acquired the cargo. All that's left is to deliver it to the port of Sayuka.
    • A scientist named Iverra was being smuggled in the cargo. She says she has business at Sayuka.
    • I've arrived at Sayuka safely with Iverra. She's gone ahead to meet her contacts.
  • Speak to Fleet Master Okaya at Sayuka
    • I killed the smugglers and took the cargo. All that's left is to deliver it to the port of Sayuka.
    • A scientist named Iverra was being smuggled in the cargo. She says she has business at Sayuka.
    • I've arrived at Sayuka safely with Iverra. She's gone ahead to meet her contacts.

 

End States

  • I delivered the cargo to Sayuka as instructed.
  • I have angered the Royal Deadfire Company and they now want nothing to do with me.

      anyone got a map of where Widla appears at sea? my quest is bugged and she hasnt been placed on the map. ive traveled all of the west coats of the map with no luck, various forum posts and no reply, any help would be great
