Among the Waves is an active Among the Waves Ability in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire.  Abilities are usually class-specific, and players may opt to make a Multiclass character in order to pick from a mixture of two different ability trees. However, rarely some Abilities can be found in 2 or more Classes.

Island aumaua are unsually comfortable moving through water, deep sand, mud, and similar obstacles. Unlike all other races, they are not reduced to wading when running through such impediments.

• Among the Waves is an ability found in the subrace: Island Aumaua of the Amamua race.
• Among the Waves grants immunity to Slog Zone attacks while in combat. (not reduced to wading while running through water, deep sand, mud, etc. )
