Fassina's Grimoire is a Grimoire in Pillars of Eternity 2.
A grimoire is the lifeblood of any wizard's magical repertoire. These books are painstakingly constructed with rare materials arranged in precise configurations, and are able to temporarily hold fragments of ambient soul essence, which is channeled through the book and discharged in the form of a spell.
It is a popular misconception among the uninitiated that wizards are the shapers of the magical energies they wield. In truth it is the pages of the grimoire that do the shaping. The art of wizardry is in the disciplined control and manipulation of the grimoire, with the most skilled wizards able to coax spells of maximal effectiveness and magnitude from their tomes.
Though all grimoires are limited by a finite set of pages, many accomplished wizards are known to carry several grimoires at once to handle a variety of situations.

Calls a field of unearthly blades into existence, inflicting immediate Pierce damage and a Hobbled affliction on targets in the area of effect.
The caster's hands become so cold as to freeze what they touch. Does Freeze damage to a target and reduces its Accuracy. |

Conjures a protective shield of magic, dramatically boosting the wizard's Deflection.
Eats away at the target's spirit, inflicting Corrosive damage and converting that essence into Endurance for the caster. |

Bares the enemies' combat vulnerabilities for all to see, reducing their Damage Reduction, Deflection, and Concentration.
Creates a ball of energy in the reader's hand that can be thrown at an enemy, causing Burn, Freeze, Corrode, or Shock damage to anyone caught in the area of effect. Blights are continually replenished until the spell ends. |

Summons a trio of powerful tentacles that cannot move, but can inflict Crush and Corrode damage and the Stuck affliction on anyone they hit. |

Generates a cloud of virulent poison, inflicting Raw damage to anyone in the cloud every few seconds. |

Creates a field of arcane energy around the caster, reflecting hostile targeted spells up to 5th level back at their casters (for a total of 15 spell levels).

Substantial Phantom is an advanced version of Essential Phantom, creating an independent copy of the wizard that can cast a small set of low-level spells (Minoletta's Minor Missiles, Necrotic Lance, and Arduous Delay of Motion). Due to the advanced nature of the spell, the copy from Substantial Phantom is more durable than Essential Phantom.
This spell conjures a powerful quarterstaff that adds Deflection and pushes enemies away with a Hobbled effect on each successful attack. The summoning itself also pushes everyone (including allies) away from the caster. |

The wizard summons a frightful bow that does Corrode damage to enemies and leaves them Terrified. Each bolt of energy the wizard fires bounces to one additional target.
The wizard invokes the sigil of the famed Vailian wizard Minoletta. When he or she is struck in melee, the sigil retaliates with Pierce damage, pushing the target back and leaving them Stunned. |

Conjures two large and powerful enchanted weapons in the caster's hands and a brilliant arcane breastplate to protect them.
Summons a swirling cloak of black energy around the Wizard. the cloak will banish the wizard's melee attackers, imprisoning them in darkness for a short time, where they cannot take actions and well receive rapid Raw damage over time. |
