  • East of the map, when sailing there are barrels on the water. When you take option to bring man to ship, you can recruit him. More specifically, it's due east of Nekataka (almost exactly, a tiny bit northward) and at the very right edge of the main map.

      You can have Rekke translate those obscure tablets that you find in the game. I won't spoil it, but it's a funny interaction. Not crucial to the main story at all, from what I can tell.
