Vion-ceth is an unique Weapon in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. Weapons are used to deal damage to enemies and have a fixed chance to Hit, Graze or Miss. This chance can be increased by other factors, but all Weapons have the same inherent chance to strike.

The Engwithan woodcutter who carried this bronze-headed hatchet was likely a tradesman rather than a warrior, though he undoubtedly faced countless dangers in the ancient woods where he earned his living. Lurkers and forest sprites would have seen an unarmed woodcutter as easy prey, so the hatchet served both as a tool and weapon for defense. The axe is well-suited to lumbering. The runes stamped into the head are a bane to all plants. Vines and branches retreat from its presence, and a single stroke is enough to split timber.

Vion-ceth Location/Where to find

  • Location: Hōhina Ravine
    • Acquisition: Head southeast of the location to find a chest where the weapon is kept. You'll need to defeat some enemies first or just sneak past them. After, you will have to remove vines holding the chest either by force (Might) or by casting a Fire based spell.

Vion-ceth Unique Enchantment Upgrades

Enchantments play a vital role in a player's equipment, these Enchantments provide different special effects that can be used as an advantage in battle. Some Unique Weapons carry multiple Enchantments that players may equip and some Unique Weapons only has one Enchantment. These Enchantments can only be found in Unique Items and can be upgraded if needed.

Players can unlock all of the upgrades listed for a Unique Weapon's Enchantment, however, some upgrades replace the current enchantment, and some can be stacked as bonus effects. By doing this, players must have the required ingredients and sufficient Copper Pands (CP) to be able to craft their preferred upgrade.
