Flails in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is a weapon category. Flails are one-handed melee weapons, it is usually fashioned with a (spiked) metal ball that is linked onto a wooden or metal handle with a short-length chain. It is popular among soldiers where they use it to destroy enemy shields. Flails proficiency grants Unbalancing Strikes, focus your attacks on your target's footing, dealing less damage, but lowering Reflex on hit.
