Aspect of Galawain

Summons a giant beast of unnatural size. A true aspect of the deity, Galawain.

Aspect of Galawain is an active Druid Ability in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire.  Abilities are usually class-specific, and players may opt to make a Multiclass character in order to pick from a mixture of two different ability trees. However, rarely some Abilities can be found in 2 or more Classes.

Am I missing something here? This spell doesn't seem to be great at all. The damage is mediocre and the visual appearance is anticlimactic. It's lacks the je ne ce quoi that other ultimate skills possess and the outright damage of most other high level skills. I tried this out on an Ancient class druid and it barely did any damage during its 45 second lifetime. Help? Or is it just that bad?
