Blunderbusses in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is a weapon category. Blunderbusses are one-handed ranged firearms, this weapon is commonly used for hunting and in certain situations, in combat. It can inflict great damage but it is weak against armor. Despite its weakness against armor, blunderbusses are capable of inflicting damage against enemies that are protected by veil, including spirits and wizards' arcane veils. Blunderbusses proficiency grants Powder Burns abilities, Overloading shots with powder causes short a range incendiary, but the thick smoke from the blunderbuss is distracting to the wielder.
